Mining Magazine

Ken Martin
Recently while looking for something else online I stumbled on a magazine on Google books called "The Colliery Engineer" from 1900. While it is aimed at coal mining it also has articles on metal mines. This issue has articles on the Newhouse Tunnel, Leadville downtown mines, Breckenridge and other Colorado mines. Nothing on railroads but rather info on the mines and ore.

It can be downloaded at:
https://books.google.com/books/about/Colliery_Engineer.html?id=ua05AQAAIAAJ

I may have to look for other issues.

Re: Mining Magazine

Chris Walker
All the Google books online are no longer accessible down here.  I don't know why either.  This came about during August last year right when I was halfway through my Stanley Mine research and then all the Mining Investor, Engineering &Mining Journal and the Mining Register  E-book links just went away.
Of course one can still buy the antique copies from Google Books so the almighty $ takes the cake.
