Re: Indiana Gulch Trestle

Jeff Young
Nice looking trestle there Keith!

I wish I had had the opportunity to come and see it, but my daughter was having ear issues going over the passes, so we didn’t make it down to Denver other than to the airport.  Pencil me in for next year, though…. ;)

Cheers,
Jeff.

Still more progress on the High Line.

It doesn't look like much, but lots is happening.

Is it my monitor, or did you spill a bottle of Creme de Menthe on your benchwork?

My post should have read "I'm seeing green too." Sorry about the typo.

My goodness that is an awesome trestle! I read the whole thread and just loved your progression of pictures as you went. The trees are awesome too❗️Make. Me want to try to make something or do something with my locos and rolling stock. I still have a combine in real grind gold that needs a coat of green. And my mogul needs to be weathered and the interior of the cab needs paint.
Please please post more about your layout! I am new to the DSP&P/DLP/C&S stuff and still learning.

Bear, thanks for the kudos. There is a link to the layout on the C&Sn3 page with a cartoon of the plan and more photos.

Also there are a number of posts all over both sites by myself and others documenting a variety of projects, enough to keep someone satisfied for several evenings at least.

The trees are made on a MacKenzie Brothers jig. Capt.Mac recently modified my machine to incorporate features added to newer machines, which should greatly speed production. For those of you not familiar with Capt. Mac'software process should check it out: he has really figured out how to make trees.
