I have always wondered why there were not more photos of these locomotives. They were large for the time, and one would think they would be a news item in the Rocky Mountain News. In fact, I would think that when any of the new locos was unloaded in Denver there would have been a photographer handy. But evidently not. I guess it was a small-enough place that you could just go down to the depot and see it for yourself.

Beautiful work! Fresh from the shop paint in a multi color scheme is difficult to do and you can not hide mistakes with weathering! Thank you for sharing.
