Following the C&S through Platte Canyon video - Muldoon to Dome Rock to Westall Monument
Here is the second in a series of videos I'm occasionally working on of driving the old C&S' South Park Line through Platte Canyon. Using Phil Stock's footage, I point out details and historical notes along the way and try to match up some photos from the railroad days. In particular, this video stops at Dome Rock, a curious geological formation that was famous during the days of trains in the canyon. I also briefly tell the story of the 1898 train wreck of Billy Westall's train and then stop at the monument dedicated in his honor.
