Engine #74 History now in the Archives

Hello, I am very pleased to announce that the history of Engine #74 that I wrote for Bill White's "RGS Technical Page" in 1999 has been added to the C&Sn3 Blog, which is the companion site to this Forum.

You can reach the blog from two links in the header under the photograph. It is listed in "Files", along with a great collection of interesting files many of you might not know exist.

Following the disappearance of the RGS Technical Page, the material passed through a few hands and was never again available online. Thanks largely to Todd Hackett's work bringing everything together again and posting it on the NGDF a couple months ago, and Darel Leedy's work to upload this into our archives, the article is again available to be viewed all together again.

I'm glad this has happened, as it includes a lot of detail about not only #74, but information on operations and running locomotives on the C&S narrow gauge. There are excerpts from Forest Crossen interviews and from interviews we were able to collect in the 1980's.

If you have not explored the Archives, you'll be quite amazed at the information it contains.
