Did Jamestown, Colorado ever get a train line and a train Depot

ROMO
Greetings, this is Andrew Wolf, and I have another inquiry for you. Did Jamestown, Colorado ever have a train line and a train depot? If so, could you please provide the name of the train company that constructed the tracks to or through Jamestown, Colorado? Additionally, I require photographs, postcards, maps, and newspaper articles or clippings that serve as evidence that a train line was indeed established and that trains stopped and passed through Jamestown, Colorado. Furthermore, I would appreciate photographs, postcards, and maps that illustrate the train line in Jamestown, Colorado, as well as the location of the train depot. It is possible that this train line operated from Jamestown, Colorado to Ward, Colorado, but I am not entirely certain. Sincerely, Andrew Wolf.

Crossen States on P. 151 of "The Switzerland Trail" that there was a proposal discussed in 1904 to construct an extension to service a Mill planned to be built in Jamestown but the Mill was not built and the proposed extension "Fell on deaf ears".

So, no rails to Jamestown.
