Isn't the location now underwater, and did the bridge get scrapped, or is it still there?

Last year or so a contractor with the Denver Water Dept. dredged some of the silt that had accumulated on the bottom of Strontia Springs Reservoir and with that used a underwater camera and confirmed that the span is indeed still there or that's what I heard.

That's very interesting. I wonder how deep the water is at the location??

I was going through some old slides and found two more shots of the bridge.
In Sep. '82 I hiked from South Platte down to the bridge and took these pictures.
