Damage to Palisades?

An individual posting on the NGDF claimed that the Palisades were damaged this winter.Is this rumor or fact?

   I used to shoot snow slides in my employment.  After looking at the photo Chris posted I'm pretty sure a snowslide took it out as opposed to a water flow.  JP
