Colorado & Southern Overland Brass Models

Doug Heitkamp
Folks,

I was recently given a copy of the book, "Overland Models - The First 10 Years" published in 1987. Here are the pages that contain some of the C&S models that were produced. Note the quantities produced and the prices!

Enjoy!

Doug

That’s great. I remember saving up to buy an Overland Sn3 #22 in 1989 from the Original Whistle Stop in Pasadena. Big big money for me back then, I agonized over that purchase for weeks before diving in.

Wonder why there were two shipments of #71? I have a #74 and IMHO it looks as good as my PBL #75. I did not realize that OMI imported #72 and #73 as well. I have two #71's, one of which I am planning to convert to another number. Anybody interested in a trade for a #72 or 73?

Ned,

As noted, the 72 and 73 models and one run of the 71 are “On3”.
I’m interested in the Sn3 caboose 308. I don’t recall ever seeing one of these let alone one for sale. Who has one?

Alright. I see now Jim has at least one. My head has been in the sand lately, so I’ve got some memory refreshing to do.

Thanks Darel, I missed that. I was wondering why the prices were so much higher!
