Todd,
There is an Overland C&S 22 currently listed on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/On3-C-S-2-6-0-22-Overland-OB-/182326795478?hash=item2a73861cd6:g:XsMAAOSwTA9X6Fet The model is c1920 with an "intermediate tender" and Ridgeway stack, but could be backdated to 1912-15 fairly easily to represent the either of the rebuilt Brooks 2-6-0s, either 21 or 22. The Bachmann tender shell could be used for a backdated tender. Jim

Jim, Thanks I'll check that out. Was 21 and 22 primarily freight engines? I have a Bachmann...not converted to On3 though... Best, Todd Sent from my iPad

Brooks 21 and 22 were rebuilt in the 1890s to kinda "match" the original Cooke 2-6-0s.
They were primarily used as passenger power, photographed on the Fish Trains, Clear Creek trains (especially the Forks Creek-Central City segment) and the Leadville passenger trains, even after the Cooke 2-6-0s were rebuilt into larger locomotives. Not sure how often they were used in freight service. The 22 spent its last years on the Morrison mixed train.

Jim, Thanks for sharing the information with me. I have always liked the C&S but have much more knowledge on the RGS. I ordered a copy of Mineral Belt III, so that should have some interesting stuff for me to review. I am also looking at what might be done with the Bachmann model. But you end up with some time in a model that probably doesn't hold much value. It would be nice to have some early tenders, either 3D printed or Leadville Shops etched NS to solder up. My knowledge of the tenders is just beginning... I'm not sure how accurate the Bachmann tender is at this point. Did you mention at one time that you needed some brass trucks soldered up. If it is so I would be glad to do them for you. I love soldered construction and have the right tools to do it. I started out modifying brass models back in the late 1970s using a Microflame torch as my primary tool. Just let me know... Todd Sent from my iPad

Todd,
There are a couple of On3 items of interest listed on eBay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Overland-Models-On3-Brass-DSP-P-Way-Car-74-Boxed-/381858158547?hash=item58e88517d3:g:hS4AAOSw44BYNQ~m The South Park way car could be stripped and repainted as a C&S way car prior to rebuilding (or one that was never rebuilt). http://www.ebay.com/itm/Overland-Models-On3-Brass-C-S-Coach-Boxed-/371797057614?hash=item5690d4e04e:g:02IAAOSwA3dYNeI0 This coach would be appropriate lettered for C&S 70. All the other cars of the 71-76 series had down-turned roof ends over the platform. Jim
