Here is
part 7 in this series on the acquisition of C&S narrow gauge equipment at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
This part follows the return of DSP&P 191 to the Colorado Railroad Museum following it's 'disappearance' along the way and the struggle to get its wheels unstuck. After this, it looks at one of two C&Sng acquisitions to the museum after Richardson stepped down from leading the museum. This part follows C&Sng refrigerator 1113, the only fully intact C&Sng refrigerator car, from Ridgway to the Sundown and Southern and finally to CRRM. It also includes a short background to the rise and fall of Don Drawer's Sundown & Southern project.
As always, if you know more or have corrections, I would love to know.
Enjoy,
Kurt
