Here is
part 6 in this series on the acquisition of C&S narrow gauge equipment at the Colorado Railroad Museum.
This part follows Bob Richardson as he heads to Mexico to pull out two narrow gauge steamers, one to go to Wisconsin to provide a swap for DSP&P 191 and another to go to Golden. He had to get two narrow gauge engines out of an engine house that no longer had connecting narrow gauge rails up and over a 2.5 foot gauge electric line over to the waiting standard gauge gondolas that were to transport the engines. If that wasn't enough, once he got to Wisconsin to get 191 out of its display track, its wheels wouldn't move.
