C&S Ry. Society

Kurt Maechner
Hi all,
Does anyone on this forum work with the C&S Ry. Society?  I've been trying to get in contact in reference to a year-end donation, but haven't been able to receive any response via their Facebook page.

Thanks for any help,
Kurt

Kurt,

I did a web search and found that most of the links that came up are to Facebook, which I have no interest in at all. So I can't help you.

But I will say that any group wishing to reach out to contact potential members and donors would be better served to post updates and information through a real website and sites like this one than through Facebook alone.

Thanks so much for looking into things.  The odd thing, and what prompted me to make this post, is that I never had any trouble corresponding via Facebook with the C&S Ry. Society for the last couple of years.  They were always quick to respond and gracious.  However, in the last several months I haven’t been able to get a response after various attempts dating back at least to October.

I just spent about an hour looking at material and photos of South Park RR and Park County locations on Facebook sites and I didn't see any young gay black men with weird haircuts and earrings carrying a flower bouquet anywhere.A lot of the material in these Facebook sites has already been posted on C&Sn3

Good news, all.  I was contacted via Facebook by the Society (not sure who it is exactly) and all is good.  They said they were distracted by other things that last few months.  Thanks, everyone, for your help in the process!
