C&S 60 "steamed" up in Idaho Springs in 2018

Kurt Maechner
In this post is a video I put together of video footage and photos from my family's July 2018 visit to Idaho Springs, Colorado.  At the beginning of the video, through the use of fun green screen work and sound effects, I played around making No. 60 look like she is steamed up and about to leave for Georgetown and Silver Plume.  This was my first time giving this a shot, so please forgive my amateur-ishness!  :)

Enjoy,
Kurt

Nice.
Makes me want to build a railroad in my backyard..
Or at least have something like that parked in my garden.
HOn3 is the path I have chosen.
The Nearly Historical Railroad.

Hi Chris,

Just for fun, I have to beg to differ with you on this one.  Here's a 15 inch gauge railway that is quite non-Gnomish, I think, though I have to admit that it isn't a garden railway.  It's a public, common carrier.  It's my family history too-  Henry Greenly,  my great uncle, designed the locos and the entire railway, the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch in England, back in the 1920's.   Here's some action:

or a good look at one of the engines:

I recognized the RH&D and have been interested in it since  I was a little kid.I was suggesting that you show a bit of material about the railroad that presently  runs the Overfair engines.
