C&S 2-8-0 headlights

bobyar2001
Does anyone what kind of headlights were used on the C&S standard gauge 2-8-0's?  These were somewhat smaller diameter than most other headlights.  Some had straight number boards, some had 45 degree number boards, but appeared to be the same diameter.  Extant examples exist on Nos. 638 and 641.  I think the last headlight used on the oilburning narrow gauge No. 70 may have been the same type.

Also, has anyone ever produced these headlights in model form?

Standard Pyle National headlight, same as was commonly used on the D&RGW. PSC and Backshop make (check Wisenan for todays Back Shop). PSC makes them in probably all scales, check PBL in Sn3. Should be common as dirt.

I've seen the PIA, Kemtron and Cal-Scale catalogs, but still think the C&S headlights on the 2-8-0's are smaller.  Possibly an HO headlight might work for S scale or similar 3/4 relationship.  My work is in 1:1 scale and I'm not really a model railroader.  I was just curious.  I think the C&S narrow gauge headlight bracket is about the same as those on the standard gauge engines, however.
