A visitor to Leadville

Bob Rothe, MMR 281, stopped by to visit The layout today. He mentioned a couple of regulars here--I  won't say who--and would hold his hand down at waist height and say, "I knew them when..."

I first met Bob when I was a bit taller and Dad and I drove from Greeley to see his layout in Table Mesa.

Bob is 90 and still modelling. It was great to see him

It's been a long time since I've seen Bob, but I've known him since the 1970s when I was about 15. Nice to see he's still getting around.

Indeed it is good to see him. It's been about 40 years since I saw him last. I was about 38 then, for the record. Thanks for the post Keith.
